1. First-year students who have been admitted to the University for the Fall 2022 semester and do not have TSI scores (Math, Reading/Writing) on file.
2. Students who need to submit scores and/take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment should complete this program in order to be cleared to sign-up for New Student Orientation and register for classes.

At Jaguar JumpSTART, you will get a refresher on the subjects of the TSI assessment and you’ll get to take the TSI assessment on-campus.

Jaguar JumpSTART is an in-person program.

This program is provided FREE for incoming first-year students who plan to enroll for the Fall 2022 semester.

Once you have signed-up, lookout for more information via email. You'll need to complete a pre-assignment before your session.

Once you have been registered, we will assign you a schedule for the day. The schedule for one section is below:

• Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m.
• Session: Reading/Writing (ELAR) or Math Session starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 10 a.m.
• Testing begins in the testing center at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 pm
• Lunch will be available 12 pm to 2 pm

• Session 2: Reading/Writing (ELAR) or Math Session starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m.
• Lunch will be available 12 pm to 1 pm
• Testing begin at 1 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m.

• Valid Photo ID (e.g. driver's license, passport or passport card, Texas Department of Public Safety identification card, government/military ID, or current alien resident's card) so you may be allowed to TSI test.
• Comfortable attire & light jacket
