The Jaguar Promise is a last-dollar promise program, which means that you may receive an institutional scholarship for “Jaguar Promise,” if there is a gap in funding after all other financial aid and scholarships are applied (not including loans). You will see a “Jaguar Promise” scholarship on your financial aid award offer only if there is the gap in the total cost of tuition, fees and books.*
*A book stipend of $300 per semester will be provided as part of the Jaguar Promise.
Students are encouraged to take early action to become eligible for Jaguar Promise. There are 3 main steps:
- Apply for admission
- Submit transcripts
- Apply for financial aid
Students must submit their application for admission by the stated deadlines.
- For high school students, the priority application deadline for Fall 2025 is January 15, 2025.
- For transfer students, the priority application deadline for Fall 2025 is March 15, 2025.
- For students wanting to enroll in the Spring 2025 semester, the priority application deadline is October 1, 2024.
The final step in the process is applying for financial aid. The priority deadline to complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA or TASFA is January 15, 2025 if you want to enroll for Fall 2025. If you want to enroll in the Spring 2025 semester, the FAFSA/TASFA deadline is October 1, 2024.
