Group Tours: Elementary, Middle School & Community Groups
Description
It's never too early to start exploring colleges and universities! Texas A&M University-San Antonio invites Kinder-8th grade groups for a college field trip! This walking campus tour will give your group insight into what it means to be a Jaguar with opportunities including:
- Meeting with current students
- Learning about University history and traditions
- And collecting cool Jaguar swag!
**For your safety and to create a positive on-campus experience, Groups Tours are limited to 50 students/individuals. We ask that there be one chaperone per 10 students.

- How much time in advance should I schedule the group tour?
Please schedule your campus visit at least two weeks in advance.
- How do I know what days/times you have available
Group tours are offered on Tuesdays & Fridays at 11am. A group tour must be registered and receive a confirmation email from our Group Tour Coordinator with your scheduled date and time. To see our available days and times, visit our Group Tour Calendar.
- When will I get the confirmation for the group tour I requested?
Once the registration form is complete, expect a response to your request within 1 to 2 business days from our Group Tour Coordinator. Your confirmation email will include your schedule, group tour date and time, parking / meet up map, and safety guidelines.
- Where do I park and/or where do we meet our Jag Guide for the tour
Confirmation emails will be sent out with further instruction and what to expect on the day of your visit. Please refer to your confirmation email for your map, parking lot directions, and meet-up spot!
- How many students can I bring on the tour?
Our group tours are designed to accommodate Community organizations, middle school, and elementary groups of 10 to 50 students. We ask that there be one chaperone per 10 students.
- Is there a fee for group tours
Signing up for a group tour is free but registration is required!
- What if we want students to hear from a specific department or need accommodations
